In the article titled “The impact of high intensity versus low intensity behavioral therapy in establishment of functional routines in Egyptian autistic children”, published on pages 115 − 121, Volume 35, Issue 1, in The Egyptian Journal of Otolaryngology [1], on page number 120, under “References”, reference no. 3 is incorrectly mentioned as “Siegel B. The world of the autistic child. New York, NY: Oxford University Press; 1996.” The correct reference no. 3 should be “Arick J, Young H, Falco R, Loos L, Krug D, Gense M et al. Designing an outcome study to monitor the progress of students with autism spectrum disorders. Focus on Autism and other developmental disabilities 2003,18(2),75-87”.
The citation for the above reference should be mentioned on page number 115, in line no. 41, which would then correctly read as, “The STAR program adopts applied behavior analysis, and it is composed of three strategies: discrete trial training, pivotal response training, and functional routines instruction [3]”
